Hey honeys! That’s so fitting for this post lol! Anyways, I hope you are all doing well! As we know, I love all things skincare and I love coming across products that may just help you out! Waxelene gifted me 2 products that might just make their way into your skincare regimen!Β Waxelene focuses on creating personal care items with quality and natural ingredients and a great alternative if you don’t care for petroleum!
Multi-Purpose Ointment
This right here…is the ONE! The ointment contains organic soy oil, beeswax, vitamin E oil and rosemary oil. I use this as the final step in my nighttime skin routine because it is an occlusive! It has a pretty thick consistency so you don’t need much when applying it. It is also non-clogging for your pores so don’t worry about that. When I wake up in the afternoons (don’t judge me!), my skin looks so nice and glowy!
If you are team no petroleum I think this ointment will definitely give you all that you are looking for! It is not only great for your face, but can be used on your lips, feet, scars and bites and help with our ashy hands from all that washing! They have 3 sizes to choose from, the large jar which is $40, a large travel tube which is $24 and the small travel tube that is $15. You can grab the small tube and try it out for yourself!
Clarifying Face MaskΒ
I love a good clay mask for when my skin needs that deep pore cleaning! This mask contains vitamin C and pawpaw (papaya) powder to help fight wrinkles and also bentonite and french green clay! Now I know that my skin is not always a fan of vitamin C but I really wanted to try it out! I put about one tablespoon into my plastic bowl and mixed it with water until I reached a consistency that I liked. I applied it to my face and kept it on for the recommended 15 minutes.
During the waiting time, I did feel my face start to tingle and itch but I did not think much of it as my face sometimes also tingles with my Aztec clay mask. Upon washing the mask away, my face still was tingling and I knew then my skin was not appreciating what I just put on it! The next day I did have some slight irritation on the lower parts of my cheek! I should’ve patch tested of course, but I was just so excited! If you are like me and know vitamin C is a no go, I recommend trying out their other 2 masks, theΒ Beautifying Mud Mask and Detoxifying Mud Mask.
The irritation didn’t last long thank God! I just continued to slap the Multi-Purpose Ointment on my face and it cleared up in 2 days. Again, y’all really NEED to add this ointment to your routine because she is the way, the truth and the light.
Have you tried out Waxelene before? What’s your experience with no-petroleum products?
