I was gifted the DemarkQ POW aka the Tiny Zit Zapper and I have enjoyed it thus far to help with my occasional zits!
The DemarkQ Pow
The POW consists of two lights, blue and red. The blue light has antibacterial properties which helps to shrink pimples and get them to disappear faster and balances sebum production. The red light has anti-inflammatory properties to help with recovery and any inflammation.
I love how small and comfortable it fits in my hand! Again this is designed to target individual pimples at a time, but you can check out their full light therapy line up here.
Of course TWO pimples decided to pop up right as I received this product, as if my skin knew lol. I first clean and dry my face and place the POW onto my pimple. I could feel this warm, but comfortable sensation on my face, and you just leave it there for 3 minutes (which the device will let you know once it’s done).
My Skin Before
Some people have very noticeable differences when they first use it and some don’t. I could tell the pimple on my cheek flattened a bit, but I was unsure if any changes happened with my chin pimple! It is recommended that it’s most effective with frequent use though.
As I used the device, I could tell that the pimples were getting smaller, and in a little over a week, the pimple on my chin was gone. It left no mark either (the other side of my chin is a different story).
Now, I did a bad thing with the pimple on my cheek and popped it because I was just so irritated with it and I became impatient :(. But, another wonderful thing about light therapy is that it helps with hyperpigmentation as well!
My Skin After
As you can see the marks on my face are not as dark as it would normally be which I was pleasantly surprised and happy about! I definitely recommend trying out POW if you’re looking for an alternative tool that is easy to use and great for all skin types to help with the occasional pimple. You can shop with DemarkQ here.
