Best Perfumes to Shop this Fall and Winter

First I want to S/O Black Girls Smell Good for igniting this love of perfumes I never knew I had. I was always the type to stick with two or 3 fragrances because that’s what I was most comfortable with or I would “borrow” a few from my mom. But BGSG opened the doors and has shared so much of her knowledge and I am forever grateful! Make sure to follow her on her TikTok here . I am not as knowledgeable as her because I’m very new to the world of fragrance, but I love to share the things I’m loving, so here I am! Here are a few of the best perfumes to shop this fall and winter. These are scents that are currently in my rotation (and a few on my wishlist)!

‘REPLICA’ By the Fireplace 

Imagine you’re cuddled up next to your loved ones on a cool fall night having smore and cocoa…by the fireplace. Like the name says it all! It’s in the warm and spicy family but it’s softened by a note of vanilla. Truly a comforting scent. 

‘REPLICA’ Coffee Break 

Enter in probably my favorite fragrance of all time that definitely works year round. Coffee Break has notes of coffee, lavender and milk. You won’t be walking around smelling like a coffee shop I promise! It’s a subtle yet lasting scent that makes such a big impression. Every time I go out, someone asks what I have on! 

Dossier Ambery Cherry

This is inspired by Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry and it is a true dupe for it. At first smell, you get cherries and almonds which follows up with cinnamon and clove and of course vanilla! It’s such a decadent gourmand scent that I can’t wait to reach for this fall. And listen this price tag, I’m grateful for it! 

Mixbar Vanilla Bourbon 

Vanilla notes are probably my go to for the fall because I love smelling edible (S/O to my gourmand people). This perfume has notes of bergamot, jasmine, almond blossom, sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla bean. At $19 you can not really go wrong with this vanilla scent. 

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla

Now listen, listen! This is not your regular degular vanilla because Tom and his people were in the lab mixing do you hear me! This has notes of tobacco leaf, ginger and vanilla and you are definitely making a statement when you wear this. It’s such a warm and powerful scent, perfect for fall. This lasts ALL DAY and is pricey, but here’s another Dossier inspired scent that’s a little bit more gingery than TF but nonetheless smells bomb as well. 

FENTY Eau de Parfum 

Rihanna creating this perfume just makes sense! It’s in the warm floral family and has notes of magnolia, musk, tangerine, blueberries and Bulgarian rose. It’s so sensual and inviting and I love that this is such a distinctive scent, I can’t wait to pull it out this fall and winter!

GOURMAND GIRLIES STAND UP. I bought this through an app called Flip and was able to get it 30% off and I am so in love. This has been my everyday scent for the last week (before writing this blog post) and it is everything.

Billie Eau de Parfum 

I’d be lying if I said half of the reason I want this is because this bottle is absolutely gorgeous.

Baccarat Rouge 540 

Look I know people are like this one is over-hyped but honestly I love what I smell. I’ve only tried a sample but listen, I need that. like I feel sexy x 100 and I love to feel like that so yes.
