I can’t believe it’s already been a month! This time really has just zoomed by. Following this Always Eat After 7 PM plan for the past month has been exciting! I was nervous at first to “diet” but it was fairly easy to do so with this book. The recipes were delicious (of course I made a few tweaks, a few more seasonings here and there lol!) and I love that everything is plainly laid out. Recipes for every meal of the day, including desserts and that’s literally all I could ask for! There was no guessing for what I should eat for dinner or what to snack on.
Not only does this book provide these recipes, it also touches on the science behind why this diet is effective. We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal.

How Will You Keep Going?
Another thing I love about this book is that there is a Lifestyle Phase. This is basically to help you stay consistent with the progress you’ve already made! I will definitely continue with the intermittent fasting, hitting my target calorie goals (between 1,300 and 1,500) and exercising! I will be using the portion guidelines as well, but I will be adapting many of the recipes for a plant-based diet. But I’ll be honest, I will probably have an extra cheat day or 2 lol!
Overall I am very pleased with this book and I think this will be beneficial for those who are seeking a diet plan that is not super restrictive, but effective!
