Hey honeys! So look, listen, these quarantine snacks are trying to win but they shall not! Every week I have filled my cabinets and belly with many delicious, and not so healthy foods. In the beginning of Ms. Rona, I had told myself that this would be a time to start making healthy meals and do some exercising at home but…that hasn’t gone as planned! This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.
I don’t like being restricted when it comes to following diets (I know that’s like the whole point of diets right?). Many of them want me to cut out so many of my favorite foods and it’s just not realistic to follow! That’s why I am happy to have access to Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion.
Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance. For the next 30 Days, I will be doing weekly checkins with updates on my progress and what I think of the book!
What Does the Plan Consist Of?
It is done in 3 phases:
- The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results
- The Main Phase is where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat and when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals
- The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good
I am choosing to follow this three-phase program to reach my goals which are:
- Losing a few poundages
- Having more energy
- Getting a better quality of sleep!
I am not shaming myself for gaining anything during this stressful time at all. I’d just like to see if a program that encourages the consumption of carbs and eating when the sun goes down is something that may work for me! It does not hurt to try something new out that may help me reach my 3 goals!
“A research paper published in Sports Medicine in 2014 showed that people who eat the majority of their carbs at dinner actually sleep better. Carb-induced, quality sleep decreases cortisol (a fat-storing hormone) and ramps up the production of your sleep hormones, serotonin and melatonin. Restorative sleep increases fat-burning hormones—the main one being growth hormone—overnight.”
Let me find out a potato or two will help me get to sleep! Carbs in general are literally the one thing I can’t give up and i’m so happy to know that they can actually help me sleep better!
I’ll be back for updates and I hope you decide to join me!
